Definitivamente este viaje ha sido
uno de los mejores que he hecho, subir el Chimborazo, andar en el recorrido del
tren más difícil del mundo, ir a Latacunga y encontrar esos sabores escondidos,
subir a 4850 mts en el segudo volcán más alto del Ecuador, es algo que no se
olvida.
Mi recorrido continuaba y me faltaba
la tercera montaña más alta del Ecuador, el Cayambe.
Me despido de Latacunga con el deseo
de volver, definitivamente hay que volver no solo por el Cotopaxi, sino por su
comida ya que hay verdaderos sitios que
merecen ser visitados nuevamente.
Salgo para Quito temprano en la
mañana y luego de dos horas de viaje desde Latacunga y con un pasaje de un
valor de $2.15 llego al Terminal de
Quitumbe, por experiencias anteriores decido tomar el trole, este medio de
transporte es un sistema de buses que nos conectan con toda la ciudad,
definitivamente la mejor opción por solo $0.25, llego esta vez a la estación de
Santa Clara para ir a buscar mi hotel, quise buscar nuevas opciones y me
encontré por recomendación de un amigo un lugar llamado “The Yellow House”, en
todo el sector de la Plaza Foch, pensé que el ruido interferiría en mi descanso
pero no fue así, me encuentro con una habitación con todos los servicios y muy
tranquila para descansar a tan solo $20 la noche, me pareció una buena opción y
cerca de todo.
Comer en este sector con tanta
variedad de locales hace pensar en que consumir, mi presupuesto se reducia y
decidi comer unas arepas venezolanas, pensé que era algo pequeño para calmar mi
hambre por el momento, e ir a buscar otra cosa por ahí, más grande fue mi
sorpresa que con una arepa y un jugo ya no tenia espacio para comer más.
Definitivamente si están por la
Plaza Foch deberían ir y pedir su arepa. Donde la encontramos en Mariscal Foch
entre Reina Victoria y Juan León Mera. Como se llama? Chori & Chilli… Huele
a Venezuela, en este lugar los valores comprenden desde $3 las diferentes
arepas y combos de comida.

Aunque mis amigos lo saben, yo amo
la comida picante, siempre ando tras la búsqueda de comida que pique y esta vez decidi ir a un restaurant
mexicano que me sorprendió con sus tres tipos de picantes como entrada. “El
Mariachi Taco Factory” es un lugar acogedor y ambientado en México, y como la
comida es uno de los placeres que hay que difrutar pedí una “enchilada” les
puedo decir que fue de lo mejor, hay que recomendar esta delicia cuando se
visite “El Mariachi Taco Factory” lugar donde podemos encontrar en Mariscal Foch E4-318.
Un
buen sitio para beber unos tragos, aunque no puedo hablar de la comida por que
lo primero que me llamo la atención de este local fue su ambiente, esta todo
decorado como un local de lucha libre y es precisamente ese su nombre “Lucha
Libre Mexican Food and Drinks”, el día que visité este sitio estaban de
promoción los cocteles y cervezas, me decidí por unos mojitos de maracuyá que
estaban deliciosos en definitiva, para pasar un buen ambiente con amigos, piqueos y bebidas este sitio es el lugar y
mas si te gusta la temática de la lucha libre, me sentía como niño en juguetería...

Para
tomar una buena cerveza artesanal definitivamente el “Quito Pub Beer” se
convirtió en uno de mis lugares favoritos no solo por el buen cuerpo y sabor de
su cerveza sino por la comida que venden, tienen una pizza de otro mundo que se
disfruta de principio a fin.
La Plaza Foch es el alma de la fiesta quiteña,
no solo por el ambiente que se disfruta sino por lo bien que uno es atendido en
cada uno de los locales que se visitan.
No me canso de visitar Quito, cada
vez tiene algo nuevo que mostrarme, siempre da gusto volver a la Carita de
Dios.
Me toca despedirme del alma de la
diversión Quiteña, pero toca despertar temprano ya que el Cayambe me
espera......

Definitely
this trip has been one of the best I've done, to climb the Chimborazo, to ride
the most difficult train in the world, to go to Latacunga and find those hidden

like that, I find a room with all the services and very quiet to rest just $ 20

Eating
in this sector with a variety of places makes me think about what to consume, my
budget was reduced and I decided to eat some Venezuelan arepas, I thought it
was something small to calm my hunger for the moment and go and find something
else there, bigger was my surprise that with an arepa and a juice I no longer
had space to eat more, definitely if you are in the Plaza Foch, you should go
and ask for this arepa.

good place to drink a few drinks, although I can not talk about the food
because the first thing that caught my attention was its atmosphere, it's all
decorated like a wrestling place and it's precisely that its name Lucha Libre
Mexican Food and Drinks that on the day that I visited were for the promotion
of cocktails and beers. I decided to
drink some passion fruit mojitos that were definitely delicious. It is a good
place to spend time with friends, food and drinks. If you like the theme of
wrestling you felt like a child in a toy store.

Foch is the soul of the Quito party, not only for the atmosphere that is
enjoyed but for the good attention in each place that is visited.
I
do not get tired to visit Quito, every time there is something new to show me,
it is always a pleasure to return to the Carita de Dios.
I
have to say goodbye to the soul of the Quiteña fun, but it's time to wake up
early, the Cayambe is waiting for me.
