Quito: La carita de Dios de vuelta.

Volver a Quito es encontrarse con cosas nuevas, ya había estado en la ¨Carita de Dios¨ muchas veces pero esta vez quería hacer cosas diferentes y en el poco tiempo que estuve lo pude hacer lo que esperaba y falto más por conocer, espero para una próxima visita seguir conociendo a este Quito que se hace ganar el corazón de propios y extraños.

Concierto de música sacra.

Tras dos horas de viaje y con un valor de $2.50 el bus me dejo en el terminal de Carcelen. Luego tome un taxi por no concer bien como llegar a la Avenida Amazonas me cobro $7, el hostal que buscaba lo habían cerrado y busque otro, me encontré con el Hostal Nelu a un valor de $15 la noche, fue un buen lugar para descansar, debido a la cercanía de la Plaza Foch, el mercado Santa Clara y del paradero del Trole bus.

Quito me recibe con algo de lluvia y tuve que permanecer en el hotel, luego que calmo sali al centro histórico camino a un concierto de música sacra que fue dada en la Catedral metropolitana por el grupo español Arsatlantica, hermoso concierto que se da en las Iglesias de Quito para la época de Semana Santa.

Como ya conocía el sector por un viaje anterior fui a buscar el mercado de Santa Clara, en este mercado uno puede comer a un bajo precio diferente tipo de comidas locales.

Luego de esto fui al centro histórico, que los domingos permanece cerrado a los vehículos y solamente es peatonal, encontramos de todo por el centro histórico desde artesanías hasta artistas callejeros, es un buen momento para visitar las diferentes iglesias del sector y recorrer a pie el mejor casco histórico de sudamerica.

En la noche no se puede dejar de visitar la Plaza Foch, lugar turístico donde se puede ir a divertir beber una cerveza y disfrutar del Quito Nocturno, en mi caso estuve bebiendo cerveza artesanal en Camino del Sol, bonito lugar donde puedes beber tu cerveza en diferentes tamaños, también puedes pedir de comer y con muy buena atención sobre todo.

El siguiente punto que visite fue Quito Pub Beer, este local lo había visitado antes y la verdad no me decepcionó siguen con una cerveza de alta calidad y una pizza que es una delicia mas que recomendado el sitio cuando visites la Plaza Foch.

Cambio de la Guardia Presidencial

Quito me quedo debiendo las lluvias no me permitieron recorrer tanto como quería pero en una próxima oportunidad voy a recorrer lo que me ha hecho falta.

Que llevar:

Quito es una ciudad muy cambiante puede hacer sol y llover después de unos minutos lo mejor que debes de tener en cuenta en llevar es un abrigo impermeable o paraguas, bloqueador de sol, gafas, una buena cámara de fotos, zapatos para caminar y disfrutar de Quito.

Que comer:

Quito es una ciudad que ofrece todo tipo de comidas, para todos los presupuestos es cuestión de que busques cuales son tus gustos y a disfrutar.

Back to Quito is to meet new things, I had been in the "Carita de Dios" many times but in this time I wanted to do different things, and in the short time that I was, I couldn’t do what I expected, I hope that for the next visit I will continue to know this Quito that makes winning the heart of own and strangers.

After two hours of travel and with a value of $ 2.50 the bus left me at the Carcelen terminal. Then I took a taxi for not knowing how to get to Avenida Amazonas I charged $ 7, the hostel had closed and I looked for another one, I found Hostal Nelu at a value of $ 15 per night, the proximity of Plaza Foch, the market Santa Clara and the whereabouts of the Trole bus make this hostal a great place to stay and rest.

Quito received me with some rain and I had to stay in the hotel, then the rain calmed and I went to the historic center, I read about a free concert of sacred music that it was given in the Metropolitan Cathedral by the Spanish group Arsatlantica, It was a beautiful concert given in the Churches Of Quito for the Easter season.

As I already knew the sector for an earlier trip I went to look for the Santa Clara market, in this market you can eat by a low price different kind of local foods.

After this I went to the historic center, on Sundays is closed to vehicles and is only pedestrian, we find everything from the historic center from handicrafts to street artists, it was a good time to visit the different churches and walk on foot for the Best historical center of South America.

In the evening you can not miss to visit the Plaza Foch, a touristic place where you can enjoy the differents discos, restaurants and drink a craft beer. In my case I was drinking a craft beer at Camino del Sol, a nice place where you can drink your beer in different sizes, you can also order to eat fast food. People who attend you are very kind, definetly I need to drink a craft beer again in Camino del Sol.

The next place that I visited was Quito Pub Beer, I had visited it before and I really was not disappointed with a high quality beer and the great pizza that they prepare which is a delight, I recommend this place when you visit the Plaza Foch.

The rains in Quito did not allow me to travel as much as I wanted, but in a next opportunity I will go through what I have missed.

My Recommendation: enjoy the Quito nocturnal life.

What to bring:

Quito is a very changing city, In Quito can make sun and rain after a few minutes the best thing to keep in mind is to carry a waterproof coat or umbrella, sun block, glasses, a good camera, shoes to walk and enjoy Quito.

What to eat:

Quito is a city that offers all kinds of meals and for all budgets, It is a matter of looking for what are your tastes and enjoy a great food.
