Para llegar al Parque Nacional Machalilla se puede llegar desde Guayaquil por la principal vía de acceso es la carretera que une Puerto López–Jipijapa hacia el norte y La Libertad hacia el sur.
En esta ocasión salgo desde el terminal de Santa Elena hacia Machalilla que se encuentra a una distancia de 224km que hasta Puerto Lopez son dos horas de viaje y diez minutos mas hasta la entrada del Parque Nacional Machalilla. El bus que tome fue la Flota Manglaralto, este bus se detiene en el terminal de Puerto Lopez por diez minutos y de ahí sigue su trayecto hasta Manta en la provincia de Manabí. El pasaje desde el terminal de Santa Elena es de $4.40.

Una vez llegada a la entrada de
la playa uno es revisado para no poder ingresar alcohol u otro tipo de
prohibiciones. Los Frailes una hermosa playa de 1 km aproximadamente de
longitud.

Desde la playa se puede ir caminando y conocer el mirador una caminata de unos 15 minutos aproximadamente dependiendo de tu estado físico. Luego se puede ir a las otras dos playas que se encuentran a pocos minutos a pie como es playa tortuga y Playa Prieta.

Para hacer el recorrido de las playas debes de llevar agua, zapatos comodos, bloqueador solar, gafas y una cámara de fotos o video. Recuerda que es un Parque Nacional y tiene áreas protegidas la basura debe ser recogida y llevarla consigo.

Un almuerzo tiene un valor de
$3,50 y se encuentra todo tipo de comidas a base de mariscos que se puede
disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar.
En Puerto Lopez encontramos el
muelle desde donde salen los yates para ir a ver a las ballenas Jorobadas que
visitan las playas ecuatorianas por los meses de Julio a Septiembre estos
mamíferos llegan desde la Antartida para reproducirse y tener sus crias. Desde
aquí podemos visitar la Isla de la Plata que esta a 40 km de Puerto Lopez, aqui
se puede practicar buceo o visitar la isla.
Para llegar desde la entrada al
Parque Nacional Machalilla hasta puerto Lopez en bus tiene un costo de $0.50
ctvs de dólar y en taxi $1.

To get to the National Park Machalilla can be reached from Guayaquil by the main access road is the road connecting Puerto López-Jipijapa to the north and La Libertad to the south. route that can be done from the entrance but due to heavy rains The road was
under maintenance and I could not
passed, I chose to walk to the beach and
it was a 30 minute walk to get to Los Frailes beach.

Once arrived at the entrance of
the beach everyone is revised so as not to be able to enter alcohol or other
things that are prohibited. Los Frailes a beautiful beach about 1 km long. From
the beach you can walk and know the viewpoint, a walk of about 15 minutes
depending on your physical condition. Since this place you can go to the other
two beaches that are a few minutes walk away as is turtle beach and Playa
Prieta.

After doing the tour in Machalilla National Park, I decided to go to Puerto Lopez to eat, a fishing village whose pier has been remodeled, here you will find different places in front of the beach to eat and if you want some cocktails or drink a beer the cottage that there are on the beach are a great option.
A lunch is worth $ 3.50 and you
will find all kinds of seafood,and enjoy the tranquility of this place.
